   The countdown at the end of Event Horizon leads right into the final track and longest song of the album, Elysium. Weighing in at just over 18 minutes, this song is a journey which wraps up the album as a whole and makes me wonder if this whole thing is meant to be a loose concept.

   Stratovarius is a band thats sound never change much from album to album. In some cases this is good and in some bad. For me Stratovarius has always been a band that I enjoy, but sometimes it is just "meh". Elysium was "meh" after listening to few tracks, but when Event Horizon started, that thing changed! The last two songs are amazing!

   Finnish power metallers Stratovarius launched into early with new album "Elysium" which in my humble opinion has pretty impressive cover artwork, a quality CD booklet and a nice picture of that star shaped space-ship thingy on the disc itself/5(92).
