Tin Machine II is a concept album about how sick David Bowie is of being in Tin Machine. He sounds invigorated on the first four songs, distracted on the next two, and completely checked out by the time the second half of the album kicks in (though that weariness at least works for Goodbye Mr. Ed, one of a handful of Tin Machine songs that stands up next to Bowie's best work.).

Tin Machine II: EU; London; Advance promotional cassette. Plain card sleeve, typed with company logo. Made by Tape To Tape Audio Duplication, London. The track sequence is the same as the original CD and Hammerhead is the segment found on the LP rather than the B side from the ‘One Shot’ single.

TIN MACHINE = DAVID BOWIE, REEVES GABRELS, TONY SALES and HUNT SALES. While it may not have topped best Bowie album polls, the second and final Tin Machine studio album from , Tin Machine II, is considered an overlooked gem by those familiar with it. Indeed, Tin Machine II’s reputation has only increased over the years.
