Take it easy, take it easy Don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy Lighten up while you still can Don't even try to understand Just find a place to make your stand And take it easy Well, I'm a-standing on a corner In Winslow, Arizona Such a fine sight to see It's a girl, my Lord In a flat-bed Ford Slowin' down to take a look at.

If someone tells you to take it easy or take things easy, they mean that you should relax and not do very much at all.

"Take It Easy" is a song written by Jackson Browne and Glenn Frey, and most famously recorded by the Eagles (with Frey singing lead vocals) on their debut album (released as the band's first single, it reached #12 on the US Billboard Hot ). Browne later recorded the song as the lead track on his second album, For Everyman (), and released it as a single as well although it did not.

I love the Eagles and this is my Take It Easy chord chart. Very simple chords and strumming make it a good beginner guitar song. Uses G, D, C, Em and Am. All very simple open chords. I would probably use a couple different strumming patterns as the intro has a little bit of a different feel the rest of the song. They will be very similar with 1.
