The North Borders Tour: Live would be worth it for the CD only at a normal CD price. I was disappointed with the DVD. The DVD is compiled of many different video clips edited together against a live recording. There are many random cuts and it lacks a solid master shot of the band/5(24).

The North Borders is a fantastic follow up to Black Sands. The album that made me fall in love with Bonobo. Every song is spot on, and unique. I feel with the mellow jams, he could have kept going on with this formula for ages, simply incorporating different singers /5().

On his release The North Borders, British producer Simon Green (aka Bonobo) continues along the organic-meets-electronic path that his release Black Sands followed, but this walk takes place as it's turning to dusk, and there are varying degrees of mist and chilliness along the way.
